Hi,

This is kinda embarrassing but I need advice, so here goes.

It's now the start of day 8 of no bowel movement. This happened to me a couple years back for several months. I would go for ten days and be in unbearable pain, go to the ER get treated then go another ten days and so on. This time, though it's been 8 days and I have no pain. I can pass gas so I don't think it's an obstruction.

Any thoughts on what you would do if you were me?

Regards,
Daddy_Issues

P.S. Back in 2008 when this happened before the doctors ended up saying it was psychosomatic. It eventually cleared up on its own so I suppose it was. What do I do if it is psychosomatic? How do you fight something of the mind?

P.P.S. Four days ago I had leakage. Meaning watery stool was in my panties when I went to the bathroom. It wasn't a lot and it didn't coincide with passing gas or anything, just leaked out...

I would go to your regular doctor for a checkup. Sounds more than just a passing (sorry for the pun) thing.

I would also change my diet some so I am eating more fiber; fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains, etc. I eat popcorn (it's a whole grain) every couple days and it does wonders for me, LOL.
