hey guys really need some help here. does any one know of some really good insoles for flat feet. i'm beggining to have problems again. i was born with short achilles tendon in both legs and walked on my toes for half my life before it got corrected. they actually would incline my foot up a little and wrap it in a cast some type of cast training. better then cutting into me. which after a couple summers in a rwo and P.T. it worked and i walked normal but i had flat feet. so when i wear shoes with archs they hurt. then it got better and now i'm having problems again.
i'm walking on my toes and i can't wear any tennis shoes. i really have enough going on right now with my docotrs and i really can't spend the money i travel once a week to kaiser and i know all the hoops im going to have to jump through to see someone for my feet. just curious if any one out there has any expierience with cheap insoles for flat feet. i know eventually i'll probly have to get ones made for me but for the interm. i really want to keep up with my walking and exersizing but my feet really hurt when i am in those shoes |

I have flat feet too and with a plantar tendon that I constantly tear. Cheaper than the podiatrist but can still be pricey, Dr.Scholl advertises their foot centers in stores to do customized insoles. I paid $42 but was better than the $185 the pod wanted, and they have been fabulous. If you go online to their website, you can find a booth near you.
There is another cheaper brand that helped but I have to check the name of it and will get back to you.

Why is it that you can't wear tennis shoes?
I was going to suggest what I wear, New Balance athletic shoes with an arch support that I replace frequently. |
