anybody got any good info on dealing with arthritis? due to many many years of steroid use i am now faced with arthritis issues in my hip. i have no injuries there (as opposed to my other ofetn injured joints)

not looking forward to a hip replacement in the future if i can avoid it..so i was wondering if anyone has any insight? already been taking supplements of vit d..

much appreciated...a limpy gimpy

thanks for the links...trying anything...needed steroids to breathe (still do at times)...great drug but side effects are nasty!

want to try to do what i can to put off the inevitable replacement...so i will most certainly check into them...while i know about exercise & such & certain illnesses..arthritis is a new one for me (that & i am running out of joints...i think all that's left are elbows to hurt at this point!)
