I've had heartburn all the time lately I think from stress. anyone know of anything natural that works for heartburn? I have been eating tums like candy and it really isnt helping. Heartburn

Saltines can help absorb the excess acid...I usually use them in tandem with alka-seltzer--the only thing that works for me without side effects. Its fairly natural, based on baking soda =) Other than that I don't know =O

Ice cream huh? I'll have to give it a try. Makes sense, milk helps a bit.

I'll try saltines too. I can't tolerate the taste of alka seltzer.

try pickle juice
try apple cider vinegar
try chewing gum
try swallowing saliva at regular intervals throughout day

whichever items below is your favorite, try to minimize:
quit sodas
quit citrus
quit chocolate
quit spicy foods
quit dairy
quit overeating
quit tomatoes
quit fried foods
quit alcohol

***I always have problems drinking water***
