Just wondering.....

With snow and rain and mud and such is there wheelchair etiquette?

Like I try not to dirty up someones office or school room yet I am not sure if there is a wheelchair etiquette for the wheelchair user? Just wondering

Thanks Crew

I found the opposite guide

http://patientc.blogspot.com/2010/09...etiquette.html

I think you should do the opposite, maybe bring a rag or something and just ask if someone would wipe up after you or wipe down your wheels before you go into a room or something if it makes you feel better? It's not like you can help it?

Crew,

In my experience, people are certainly understanding of messy wheels on wheelchairs. You could ask for some assistance in wiping your wheels dry ~ and that's usually no problem. A few people may be **** and kind of pissy about it, but that's their own isuue and it's very rare!

Gentle hugs to you!
