Thanks for sharing this! It is so important to take care of oneself and to help others understand things they can do to prevent it.

It is also good to understand the signs of one. I thought it was helpful at the bottom of the page how it posted the mnemonic for the signs of a stroke to call 911 or whatever your emergency number might be if someone is exhibiting symptoms. There is so much that can be done, especially if caught early.

* FAST
F- Face: Is the face drooping on one side
A- Arms: If you raise both arms, does one limply fall back
S- Speech: Is their speech slurred, are they talking oddly, or not making sense
T- Time is critical, call 911 or your emergency number

Yeah, and it is important to remember that prevention does not start at 40 or later. We have to learn to take care of ourselves from a young age.
