Has anyone else had pleurisy? The doctors told me I had it and it's been nearly 3 weeks. I got a rx for Naproxen and I hope it helps. This is the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm ready to get over this...

I had pleurisy once it was very painful and I am sorry to hear you are going through this. In addition to the anti-inflammatory, I found steam to help me breathe better, either in a hot shower or over a hot pot of boiling water. Warm compresses (moist hot towel or heating pad on low) to the chest helped to soothe the chest muscles too. If have pain on one side, it actually helped more to lie on that side to relieve the pain. Unfortunately it knocked me down for awhile and took time to heal; take good care of yourself and sending well wishes for a speedy recovery!
