I cant figure out what this is, Ive been on line trying to figure it out. Anybody else experience this. Sometimes I get really hot and start sweating, I mean hot like I'm going to die. I'll turn the air condition way down, sit by the fan and usually take my cloths off. Kinda scary when it happens.

Yep, sounds like hotflashes to me ...
I drink lots of icewater and turn the A/C way down low too ... I've even considered tossing a bag of ice into a tub of cold water and crawling in there with it ...

 layla,It does sound like hot flashes to me as well. I got hot flashes after I stopped nursing my year-old daughter & it lasted for a couple of months (I think). There are some cool gel packs that come in real handy during those times. It's been seven years since I used mine, but mine was covered in a bandana-type of fabric, and left in the freezer. Go to the freezer & apply to forehead, back of neck, and go down from there. That worked for me. Hot flashes weren't any fun though, I remember that! Waking up in the middle of the night was just the worst imo.

Hate to say it honey but it's Menopause! We all go thru it and the hot flashes are the WORST!
 So go naked! Or call your doc and tell him what's going on -- and see if he can help. lol. Of course a COLD shower can help but it will leave you screaming too! LOL
