Busy day for me today.
I left home at 8:00 am, and got to my dermatologist by 9:15 am. I had scheduled an appointment because I had the strange sores all over my arms and stomach, and they wouldn't heal and kept getting infected. So, they did a quick, simple, and painless punch-biopsy. I got two stitches and a band-aid; and I go in again on 11/5 to get the stitches out and find out the results of the biopsy.
............................................................
By now, it's 10:00 am. I had am appointment with my GP, so that I could get medical clearance because I am working on getting admitted into a day-treatment program. BUT, that appointment was at 11:00 am, so I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour. (sitting in the waiting room for an hour sounded less fun. At least you can crank up the radio in the car)
So I go in, and it's basically just a check-up. We went over my med list, talked about any issues, checked the ears, nose and throat, blah blah blah. I am a diabetic, so she ordered a urine test to check for proteins and what not. And I also had to get blood drawn, because they needed to check my A1c levels, and also my white blood cell count and sedimentation rate. THEN, my doc informs me that I needed my flu shot and my Hep A shot.
So, in the end, I got a biopsy done, stitches put in, two vaccinations, and a blood draw. I feel like a pin cushion lol.
To top it off, this Friday I have the interview with the day-treatment place. I have no idea what they are going to ask me or how long it''s going to take; I just know that my appt. is at 9:00 am, so I have to leave by 8:00 am, which means I'll have to be up at 6:30 to get ready.
UGH.
I just wanted to rant and rave a little. Sorry if I wasted your time
