Ok so I havent ben myself for weeks, so on Wednesday I finally gave in and went to the doctor, After initial tests they told me nothing was wrong....go figure. But today they called me and told memy thyroid was "off" I think they said low, but i was still half asleep. They want me to come back next week and iff it is still "off" then we have to talk about what to do.....I really don't like this Idea of having to go back in agian, but at least I know that I wasn't imigining it, I really was having some problems.

If you do have low thyroid problems then I can see why you have felt kind of OFF the last few weeks..... for the thyroid produces hormones that control a person’s metabolic rate, so in essence, the thyroid acts as the body’s gas pedal.
An over active thyroid (hyperthyroid) causes the body’s systems to run too hot and too fast, where as, an under active thyroid (hypothyroid) causes the body’s systems to run too cold and too slow.

Please by all means make the effort to go back for a follow up visit..... your doctor will be able to tell you how this can be treated - some times medicine and change in diet is all that is needed.

Good Luck....

Wow...I am hoping to get in tomorrow to have the additional tests done, but i will have to see since I have to work tomorrow....if not then I will have to wait till wednesday. But I know it will be late in the week before I know anything.

Any ways the reason I am on here right now is I need to try to figure something out....Last night i couldn't stop crying and I have no idea why.....when I finally fell asleep I was out for 12hours and when I did get up I was just groggy and slow... could this be my throid as well? I am just really tired, confused and had such a rough week.
