hi all im new to this group and have joined because ive been sexually abuse my whole life from 6 to 28 due to this i have alot og general health issues. i have depression,ibs (irritable bowel sydrome) bells pasly and cervical issues and i think this is due to my abuse what are your thoughts?

thanks for your post paula. i am a survivor of emotional abuse and neglect and also have had a lifetime battle with depression and suffer from IBS. IBS is a disease cased by long-term stress. i am less familiary with your other issues though I have no doubt that your past makes them more difficult to deal with. are you seeing a therapist?

Hi Paula -- I wouldn't doubt it has something to do with it. Why don't you join the Sexual Abuse forum? You'll find more knowledgeable people there, who can answer more of your questions. You'll find it further up on the list of forums, It's kind of hard to see, but it's there. LOL
