I have been having issues with my right leg. Im a hypochondiac anyway. But when it comes to stuff blood clots. I dont know if its a blood clot or a varicose vein. But about 2 months ago a blueish green vein showed up on my calf muscle. I think it came up cause when I panic I tighten my leg mucsles & I think I pulled it. But it hurts. From my ankle all the way up to my butt cheeks (lol sorry but I didnt want to sound pedantic). It almost feels like sciatica. Ive had it in my other leg before. Its not swollen or hot or any of that. It just hurts. & it makes me anxious. Anyone else have this? What can I do to make the pain go away?

you need your primary doctor to assess this situation. If you do not have an X-ray or Ct scan that would help determine the structure of your back with regards to vertebrate-bones in your spine-and assess your nerve system-nerves and discs to determine whether it's an orthopaedic referral required or a neurological referra
Note that these are suggestions to consider by your primary doctor. Other P C members may be around to offer their opinion.

Sounds like it needs to be checked out by an MD. Please make an appointment. It is impossible for us to diagnose it for you.

I was just needin advice on how to make it stop hurting. I dont have insurance or a car to go to a doctor. I havent seen a MD in over 3 years. If I was to go it would be p/t or pills. I cant afford p/t & I wont take pills. I need some kind of at home treatment for the pain.

Strengthening your abdominal muscles means your back gets a break from doing all the work So, you might consider doing some crunches.

Here is a helpful site, among many out there:
