I'm never hungry. I'm never full. I just try to make myself eat when I get up because I notice if I don't I feel weaker than if I eat. But when I eat I don't feel full and it might be because my whole system is suppressed. I just have to tell myself when it is enough. If I just did what my body told me I would eat a really really huge meal every second day and I think that wouldn't be all that good.... Sleep meds can make me peckish but that is really different and it doesn't happen without the meds.

It could be a high metabolism or the foods you're eating. Some foods (high fibre) will keep you feeling full longer.

Also eating habits especially craving carbs or sugar can be linked to poor sleep habits

Have you been feeling hunger for a while, or just recently?
Any medications? Do you have diabetes, or do your parents or siblings?
How old are you? I'ts normal to be hungry while growing up, but that goes down as you get older

Craving sweets? sweets is used up by your body very quickly. Eating empty calories does not give you the needed nutrients either, it's hard to resist chocolate chip cookies, but apples, grapes, other fruits are also sweet alternatives
Thanks for this!

when I eat too many carbs I feel hungry alot more. I am also diabetic but now that it is under control I don't get too hungry anymore. Maybe you should see your dr to have that checked out.

I'm hungry all the time, what works for me is to eat small meals every 2 hours and get food that takes a long time to consume and you can have a lot of. Apple slices, grapes, carrots, cucumbers, sunflower seeds (in the shell) pistachios, puffy cereals like mini wheats with out milk. If you like sweets, fat free Ice cream, hard candy, dried fruit.

Oh... I know "you" then. Know several people like that. Some almost need a small constant intake of food to not get low on blood sugar.

It might help cutting out sugars, juices and the sweetest fruits, balancing out glucose is usually done by eating more protein and slow carbs. Also people like that have to have both meals and snacks.
Thanks for this!

I crave some food every 30 minutes because my mouth has to be fixated on something. When I am really hungry is usually every two hours. I find drinking a lot of water fills me up so I'm not as hungry and I like to eat foods with over 4grams of fiber so I stay full.

Unfortunately, sweets are not very filling to the stomach or to the brain. Sweets like candy go directly to the blood stream and give a quickly achieved sugar high. When that "high" ends, and they end fairly quickly, the cravings return.

So, when cravings strike, instead of sweets, it is important to eat foods that your body will digest slowly and that will give you a longer feeling of satiation. Try eating low fat protein, e.g., lean meats, tuna, OR foods with heart healthy (HDL) oils like avocado, nuts or peanut butter. Bodies digest proteins and fats much more slowly than sweets and provide the body with nutrients not found in simple sugars.

Cravings can be more than a sign that your body is merely hungry. Sometimes they are a sign that you are not giving your body what it is nutritionally hungry for. I have found that 1 slice of whole grain bread smeared with peanut butter can end my food cravings for more than 2 hours. (P.S.: Do NOT buy low fat peanut butter. Natural peanut butter is best.)
