Hi
I've dealt with Kidney Stones since the beginning of 2011. I passed several stones and I had surgery twice to have then blasted away. One doctor thinks my medication at the time could have been the culprit but I'm not quite so sure. I'm still working writh my urologist. I sent off blood work and urine samples and the whole nine yards and still no clue. Everything came back within normal. Diet is good. Drinking plenty of water. You name it. It seems my health deteriorated when I got on medication. I had my gallbladder removed in 2010. I know it's the medication because I'm off them now and although my mind isn't masked right now I'm physically healthier out seems. Even small things like my mails and hair are healthier and food taste better. I just miss being in a medicated fog and I'm thinking of going back on my medication but I'm afraid to because if you've had kidney stones and the pain and trauma that goes along with it than you'd understand why |

It's never occurred to me that these meds could cause kidney stones. I don't know what meds you were on, though.
Aren't kidney stones made of calcium? I've had one episode with them and always thought it was because I was talking really large doses of calcium at the time..... |
