Hey ladies -- I go for my first one Tuesday. What am I in for? Is it really as bad as they say? mammograms

It is uncomfortable, but very necessary. Check to make to see if you have to go without deoderant or powders. With some types of imaging you do.

A mammogram is nothing compared to what you'v had to do! No worries!

I find the cartoons of breasts being pulled and run over by cars very funny. They compress, flatten you between plates to get the best view. The biggest deal for me is the skin pinching so when it does I simple straighten it out. It's really not horrible at all.

Not as bad as they make it out to be..... I had mine and they took about 7 PICS (seven squeezes) and the only one that hurt was the last one, and it brought tears to eyes, but was over in 20 seconds.

Hang in there.... just think fluffy pancakes - lol.
