Don't let your toenails get bad. I had an ingrown toenail that hurt like the dickens and finally went to the doctor today. He ended up taking my toenail off. So I have this huge bandage on my foot and I'm supposed to keep it up this weekend. Luckily I have a lap top and a coffee table close to my couch that I can put the lap top on the coffee table and lay with my foot up. I'm happy that it wasn't infected though. He did look at my other foot and say that because of the way that it is shaped that I will probably have to have that one done too. He didn't want to do it today though because it didn't need to be done and he said if he did it I would hate him tomorrow because of the pain and he only does it when people will love him. So I guess we will see if I love him or hate him tomorrow. Good thing I have pain pills left over from my knees though just in case. He very rarely gives me pain pills because of my addictive nature. Sometimes I'm glad of this and sometimes not.

OUCH jbug, that sounds really painful! Both my big toes are really bad, but I've had more than my fill of drs. in the last year and toes aren't really a priority for me right now
 . I suppose if they start hurting more I will take the route you did.I hope you feel better soon! Candy |

I'm sorry that happened with your toe! What someone might consider a luxury for me, pedicures, are really health-wise necessary, as I can't do my own!
I hope you heal quickly... and don't have any trouble in the future

Oh, ouch, Jannie! I had to have one removed because it was hurt in an accident. It hurt like the dickens!! Please take good care of you.
