I love green leafy vegetables. I love pasta. I love rice. I love dairy products. A year ago I was sick every time I ate. Had test Done and found out that I have gastroparesis. All the good foods that I like are out the window. I have lost weight due to this, which is good, but dang it, I miss my food.

I'm sorry to hear you can't eat the foods you like. What exactly is gastroparesis?

I have GERD and a big hiatal hernia and am looking at surgery for it soon.

I have had to cut out foods I like too--well, drinks such as colas and any other carbonated beverages, onions, foods that create a lot of gas, etc.

As you say, it's no fun.....

It is where my stomach doesnt digest certain foods due to partial parylisis, spelling is wrong. Some foods digest easy and some don't. The ones I love don't.

Oh, my. It is sad that it's the very foods you like that your stomach isn't happy with. I assume there's no treatment for this problem.

I'm so sorry to hear about that. I can sympathize with missing favorite foods. I'm gluten-intolerant. I wish there were a way to transfer the bad things that happen to good people to bad people who need to be punished. lol
