I have been going from doctor to doctor quite literally since I was very young. I am now in my late 20's and my life has just become soooo overwhelming in the past couple of years! I have so many different health problems and they seem to all hit me at once making me think they are either related or I am a hypochondriac. Primarily I have bipolar disorder type 2, I also have severe allergies and am constantly sick, am constantly sick despite all sorts of treatments. I really feel like I'm losing it. I haven't been able to work since last year, and my husband's salary barely supports us.
I have applied for disability twice and been turned down, mainly because of my age and education. I did manage to graduate college in 6 years. I keep fighting but Idk what to do next. I have 4 doctors appointments next week and am really scared. I feel like such a burden to my family and husband. But what can I do?? I'm sorry for the rant just can't take much more. ![]()

hi redbandit
im sorry you are struggling so much and have been so ill. i wish they could figure out what is wrong with you. i used to have severe allergies but after getting the kenalog shot two times a year a few years in a row it seems to have taken care of the worst of it thank god. i also did the nasal rinse and mucinex and that seemed to really help out. i lived off the stuff. now i am only occasionally bothered. have you tried working with an atty for disability. sometimes it takes several tries and an atty fighting for you to get approved. just dont give up. ![]() |

Redbandit,
You are probably not qualifying for disability since the standard looks at your ability to perform any job, and not just a job that could utilize your college education and advanced skills. It is a tough standard. |

I can understand that and I've tried to find other jobs in other fields. I never can get a job offer for jobs that match my abilities and skills. The only job offers I've gotten since graduation have. Been in n sales /commission jobs. Ie, selling stuff to strangers and trying to hassle your friends to buy stuff. I can't sell stuff! Lol I am horrible at it, and obviously if you can't sell you get fired
