Iron , of course, makes me sick. And i can' t eat a whole bunch of food with taking vitamin because i think my cyst that is making me anemic makes me feel bloated and full. So anemic dr offered transfusion but then there is risk of diseases but i'm so out of breath and starting to get dizzy. Has anyone else had this problem?

There are risks in not getting the transfusion. Perhaps the better risk is to have the transfusion. Blood is tested for disease before being used in a transfusion.

I have decided to have an iron infusion. It will happen late next week. I am also wary of side affects.. (hives) But I cant tolerate those iron tablets. My dizzyness is not going away. I am trying to eat foods rich in iron. I'll let you know how the infusion goes.
Is you doctor investigating the cause of your low iron? Is your cyst being treated? Just caught your comment on another thread and understand now. ![]() Last edited by possum220; Sep 11, 2013 at 08:42 AM. |
