Ok, its been some time since this all started happening but it only takes spells, and once it does happen, it doesn't happen for a good while again(like many weeks go by). Last night it was at its worst tho. never been that bad. Dont know what it would be called. it's almost like what i see people on tv who get tazered or electricuted do. but normally I twitch and jerk and can't control it. usually waking me up from my sleep. only seems to happen at night or when i'm laying down. usually more when i'm laying down for a nap during the day. so it only happens as i'm sleeping and it wakes me up. and its not the usual twitch that wakes people up where they get the random sense of falling or that kind of thing. hard to explain how its different. but it is different..
Last night that started happening, waking me up, and i'd quickly fall back to sleep within seconds. like normally... but then last night the very last time it happened something weird happened that was more intensified from what it normally is. I dont really remember much, but i could remember hearing myself making a "ngh!" sound like in pain, so maybe it was painful?? (i woke up just a breif second before i stopped the sound (which was involuntary - the sound)). then my muscles were all tensed up, and i was literally bending in a backwards way. i can't remember the exact position all of my body was in, but i remember having to breathe, like my lungs hadn't been working for a period of time before that (not known, but that's how it felt. like if i hadn't been breathing for a good while and was catching my breath)... I prolly sound pretty crazy. but its almost like my body seems to electrocute itself. when i have no electrical source around me even. I have a bunch of static electricity, so much that i end up setting my watch off sometimes when i'm just sitting somewhere, and it starts flickering lights that it will do (one of those watches where you press a button and it changes a hue of color and then blinks those colors before stopping again). also the other night when i kissed someone, they got a pretty bad static shock from me. and thats not a figure of speech.. it was litterally a static electricity shock on them that i didn't even feel, but it hurt them.
I've even gotten too close to my computer tower once and the zap light spark type thing -not really a spark, but something similuar- made my computer reboot itself (i was about less than an inch away from the computer tower). my computer didn't even act like it had been turned off on a bad note. it started up just like it would any normal day instead of telling me that it unexpectedly quit and needed to check the harddrive for errors. (this happened when i was about to plug in my wireless mouse on the front usb ports).
I do have localized sezures or localized epilepsy. they have labeled them with both of those. not at the same time. just a doctors different take on it.
Only localized tho. like my diaphram will sound like i'm hyperventalating when i get super upset (not voluntary and even when i close my mouth and hold my breath my diagphram will continue to do it's thing).
My eyes twitch and i loose my focus and have to regain my sense of area and things.
under certain combo of meds (phenergin, and dilaudid/or morphine) i have localized sezures of my tongue.
I also take Lamictal (100mg--used to be 150mg, but at some point many months ago they dropped me down to 100 without telling me first). I've not had a blood test for the levels of this in my blood since two summers ago-when i started it. My nerologist was the one that did it then, and also was the one who prescribed it, but somehow my pdoc/nurse decided to take over it, and started prescribing it, and i've not seen my nerologist since then to speak to him about it. but i also take that before bed, if that could have anything to do with all of this, i dont know.

I'm never any good with googling things-99% of the time i dont find anything on what i was searching for. i tried searching on it, but never found a thing on this happening to anyone else, or an explaination, or some kind of answer. Only thing i ended up finding is a story on a poor owl flying into an electrical line, and gas bombs, which neither are a possibility.

Hey Ya Lexi, I hope you get some clues soon as to what's wrong with you. I wondered if you ever popped over to NeuroTalk (Psych Central's sister site geared for Neurological problems and the like) and browsed around there, you might find what you're looking for there. That's where I've gone to try to figure out a couple of things, no for sure answers, but it does help. They do seen a little different at first, but they're nice, plus I checked and if you'd want to start a profile to ask a question your Lexi232 is available there. Just thought I'd let you know. Here's their link if you didn't notice it near the bottom of PC.

I hope you feel better soon!
