Anyone else have this? I have had it for 12 years now and the last time I had a flare was in 2006. I was in the hospital for a week and almost lost a portion of my colon...thankfully I didn't.

I currently have had symptoms since Saturday and went home from work early today bc I felt horrible and kept going to the bathroom. I mean as much as I don't want to have a flare and I feel like crap, I can't help but think hey, here is a chance for me to lose some weight.

But besides that, I teach that a college and classes start tomorrow. I teach every day day of the week and I'm nervous that I'm going to get sick and not be able to cover my classes. On top of that, I'm taking one class myself because it's something I'm interested in. I have plenty of sick time, but my new dean/boss started on Monday so I don't want him to think I'm a slacker!

On top of that, I have other stressors in my life- two job interviews next week, and my lease is up in two months....so I have some bigger life decisions to make coming up. All this doesn't help with the flare -stress causes it to get worse.

I'm not sure what to do, or what my next step should be. I mean at this point, I'm bored just from taking a half day today, but idk if ill be able to go to work tomorrow..first day of class!
