I am going through my 6th attempt of chemotherapy at the moment. I was diagnosed with CML in February 2010 and since then I have been through many cycles of chemo, I am in blast crisis once again and now the doctors say they are only able to slow down the blast growth. So it means I am terminal now and it scares me. I am 30 years old and I feel like somebody hit me with a hammer... Is anyone going through chemo here? How do you manage the side effects?

I havent had chemo but my father has.

I wanted to say that I'm sorry that you have had so much to go through.

He had a lot of nausea and used to like ginger tea made with fresh ginger. It seemed to help.
