Hi, I am in a daily struggle with bipolar. Right now I am mostly in depression, very low. I have liver disease, cirrhosis, N.A.S.H. and am dealing with the thought of a liver transplant sometime..Dr. doesn't have time frame for me, I was diagnosed June of 2013, so still doing lots of blood work, biopsy, MRI's etc. So, needless to say, my moods are eratic and...my liver Dr. took me off of my mood stabilizer, Lamictal and I am only on Zoloft and Xanax right now until we can find another mood stabilizer.

You are contending with a lot right now. It is not easy and it also takes patience to find the right combination of meds; however they ARE out there. Do what you need to to take especially good care of you right now during this trying time. It is really good you are staying in constant contact with your docs; the help is there and stay on top of them to get the help you need. There is also more support in the Bipolar and Depression sections here at PC if have not already checked them out. Hang in there and hope answers come soon. Take good care and will be hoping for the best. Best of wishes.
