says the more diet soda you drink the more weight you gain. But doctors don't know why...perhaps because ppl think they can have it "free of calories or something" so they drink more of it. ''

I know I can't handle the chemicals in diet soda, esp those who haven't cut back on the sodium... but also maybe because, to my system it seems that any chemical that makes my body react the same as sugar would, still affects me as though it IS sugar, thus part of that result is gaining weight.
