On wednesday I finally told my T that I have thyroid issues that I have left untreated for 3 years because I lost trust in my old GP and didn't know how to go about finding a new one. T referred me to a GP she works regularly with and I have my first appt on Monday. I'm so freaking out, even though T told me this person is safe, I still worry about being judged for all my past behaviours, my mental issues, my weight and so much more. I hope I can make it through this... at least my T wrote a note for the GP so I won't have to explain too much... sorry for rambling about something this minor, but to me it's a huge leap of faith.
