Anyone here have mrsa? If so have you had any problems with it? My sister has it and she is on 2 antiboics for it . The antiboica are IV form and she gets them 2x a day and the treatment is 6 weeks long. She also has a low immue system with it. she was in the hosptial for 4 weeks do to this and other medical problems. I have so many qucation on this .I have looked it up on the inter net on what it is and treatment . Does anyone know of a support group ? Do you ever get rid of it or do you have to bettle with it the rest of your life? If this is anyone out there let can help please let me know, I want to help my sister understand this thing.

Hi,
I know about MRSA. Please feel free to PM me your questions. Essentially it is a methicillin resistant staphylococcous aureus infection. Staph is something we human beings carry. MRSA is a stronger staph bug that is resistant to antibiotic treatment.
