I have a hard time sleeping & half-wake frequently, so I am constantly TIRED. It hurts to take my daily medicine & sometimes, I cannot swallow at all. It's a very uncomfortable feeling 24/7, but the extreme comes maybe one-quarter of that time.??? My tonsils were HUGE this morning and I couldn't breathe easily ~ but as hours are passing, the swelling is going back down.
Has anyone experienced this, and know what I'm talking about??

I think you need to see a doctor about it. It could be allergies or an infection but no matter what it is if it is affecting your breathing you should get it checked!

These tips might help in the meantime to soothe and help minimize the inflammation to keep the swelling down, especially the first one, gargling with warm salt water:

I feel for you. Was ironically talking at work, about having my tonsils removed as an adult. I was sick because of them, for a year. Wish I had advice, can only offer sympathy.
