So I've been experiencing several rectal obstruction symptoms off and on for the past several months and I'm quite concerned....actually what's really concerned me the most was my husband's concern as he's usually fairly laid back about things. I do have a physical scheduled with my doctor next week, and will be requesting further eval, either a sigmoidoscopy or if she feels it's neccessary a full colonoscopy.

At first I attributed the symptoms to my lexapro, and to a lesser degree the prozac. But it's not been normal constipation I've been experiencing, this whole time. I'll have times where I get several small bowel movements per day. And there's definitely a sensation of a blockage I'm having to push past.

So wish me good results. Wishing I at least had a therapy appointment to settle me down in the meantime, but she's booked for the evening appointments and I am coping well enough to not want an "emergency" appointment. I'm hoping it's a pelvic prolapse from having children.

*deep breath*

I hope your results come out okay, and that this issue subsides
