I have been having trouble with squinting despite that I could tell that I could see out of my glasses or contacts, no problem, but have also been getting stress headaches and light sensitivity. With history of migraines, wasn't sure what to think, but this was a new combination. This has never happened before. I finally got into the eye doc. Vision exam and peripheral tests were fine, except the focus test (which was new to me), and prescriptions for lens were right where they should be.

However, it turns out my eyes were DRY () and is not always noticeable for being "dry" feeling. It is also not always noticeable to some but they just start to have the symptoms I was experiencing: squinting, trouble focusing but vision is good, stress headaches or migraines, and/or sensitivity to light (#1 cause of sensitivity to light). He said, AD's alone can cause dry eyes as can anti-psychotics (did not know this about MH meds), as can a new med I am on for blood pressure, so it is not surprising they are dry especially in combination as to why it so severe at this point (scale 0-9, he put me at a 8).

Never knew dry eyes could cause so much trouble. He prescribed an antiflammatory drop for the next couple of weeks plus a moisturizing drop that is OTC that will probably have to use indefinitely until it clears or as long as on the other meds, which those meds are indefinite at this point so I will be using the drops for some time most likely.

I thought this was curious and in case others found themselves with similar symptoms being on MH meds, or blood pressure meds for that matter, FYI.

Thank you! I have had a weird eye thing going on and wonder if it could be related to my eyes being dry. It's the right time of year for that kind of problem!
Thanks for this!
