After so long I actually managed to figure what was causing the vast majority of my problems, and I was just dumbfounded by how small and simple it is. It turns out that I have a problem methylating B12, meaning that even though I get plenty of B12 in my diet, my body wasn't using very much of it because it wasn't being turned into the active methyl form. My grandmother found out she has a methylation problem when she had a vitamin panel done. Well, it's caused by a genetic defect so its hereditary, so I did some research on it and what the symptoms of B12 deficiency were and was blown away by how it described nearly everything that was wrong me. So I've been taking suppliment of the active form of B12 and the results have been absolutely amazing. I don't have any nerve pain anymore whatsoever. I'm not getting the digestive problems anymore, I'm sleeping much better and my muscular endurance and stamina are much, much higher. I think best of all my mood is better and I don't feel my emotions are anywhere near as flattened as they were.

The whole thing does make me a little mad though. I've never, ever had a doctor who wanted to check me for a nutritional problem, and when I was seeing a doctor for my digestive problems I asked if it could nerve problem and was brushed off. Guess I was right in a way.

Suffering from B12 deficiency as well and it taking a very long time for them to figure it out, I can understand the anger and frustration because it seems so simple but can caise so much havoc. I am so relieved for you that you have found out what has been the root of many of the issues to get some help with it now, however. It makes such a world of difference and just amazing what problems the vitamin can cause when lacking in it, especially when it is due metabolism issues.

Good for you for continue to research, prodding for answers, and not giving up. It takes some time to fully restore levels. I hope you continue to mend and feel better.
