I was in an impulsive mood today and decided to get a microdermal collar/clavicle piercing (like I was literally driving by to go somewhere else, saw the shop and turned in). In my rush though, I didn't take in a lot of information about after care. I do know they said to keep it covered with a bandaid for a week, and then at night for another week. I crashed this afternoon though, and took a nap and realized that I unconsciously 'scratch' at it. I woke up and the already bloody bandaid was even more bloody. I'm afraid i'm going to pull it out in my sleep. Anyone have suggestions?

Hi my daughter had her hips done. She did everything she was supposed to do to take care of them but one still got infected. She went back to the piecer and he took it out. He said if she had waited another day she would have had to go to the doctors to have it taken out. I could contact the place or person who did the piecing. They could tell you want to to.

I will tell you that my daughter has her bully button pieced then her hips and without telling us went and had her nipples done. She took out her nipples thank god. But it seems like every piecing she has gotten she has also gotten an infection. From her ears, bully button or hips. She had to wait 3 months to get the one hip repieced.

Not sure I helped much.
Thanks for this!

They look gorgeous! Could you put a bandage over each one to protect them? Also remember to clean them with a salt solution on a cotton ball thing twice a day.
Thanks for this!

Thanks guys. I have started adjusting to them now. I have to wear a bandaid anyways for a couple of weeks, but the itching has toned down a great deal!

Mine is a pink one, but I had to pay an upcharge. I love the way it glistens though. I think they told me at my place it take four months to heal. But if you find you can change yours in a month, let me know because I saw these stars that I reallllllly want!

Ima call and ask how long before I can change it. And ima buy the curved barbell from him cause it's better jewelry since it's not gonna be all the way healed for a long while.

My friend he think my stud is too big :/ it's what the piercer picked out...I was impulsive so didn't think a thing about it at the time
