I started having right-sided ear pain and a sore throat on the right side. I went to the doctor and they found a polyp in the back of my throat or something else. I am being referred to an ent. I have had Barrett's esophagus for years which is a precancerous condition of the esophagus. Now I fear I might have cancer. I get really anxious and scare myself. I am only 52. How can I relax about this. I try to be positive but am scared. Please help.

I am so sorry that you are not feeling well.
![]() I hope you can get into the ENT soon. Also hoping that you will be on the mend and healing soon. Hang in there meanwhile. (((bounceback))).

That is scary. When can you see the ENT?
It's good you were on top of it and identified it. |
