Thanks very much for posting this, George. I read an article about five years ago about some of the problems with mammography, but this article has much newer information.

It's pretty scary to think that a mammogram can find cancerous cells but then there's no way to tell if they are cells that really need to be removed.

Men can get breast cancer, too, but I'm not clear about whether the tumor types are the same as for women.

I was coming home last night listening to public radio and a program came on discussing women's (and men to a lesser degree) health, particularly cancer. They seemed very excited about something called thermography. I'd never heard of it so I did some checking. Apparently there is a big disagreement between those who believe in it and those who don't. This includes doctors and other health care workers as well as laymen... on both sides.
