Angie get to the doc ... Do you have a temp yourself , and / or are you feeling achy? This could be the start of cellulitis or phlebitis. Dont mess around with this . Get to the doc or ER right away!! I mean it! This is not something to mess around with!

Take care
Bethy

100% agree with Bethy -- could be a clot (I've had several and those are some of the symptoms!). Get to the ER as soon as you can!! And keep us posted.

Angie don't wait till Thursday -- go to the ER *NOW.* I'm serious. If it's a clot you risk it breaking off and moving into your lung, which can kill you. If it's cellulitis (which I've also had, medical wreck that I am), you can develop a terrible infection that will land you in the hospital on heavy-duty IV antibiotics.

Pleasepleaseplease, pretty please go get it looked at right away. Please. I worry.

Love, Candy

Candybear is right. My husband woke up one morning with a red streak running up his leg; by evening he was vomiting. He went to the ER the next morning and discovered he had cellulitis and was hospitalized on IV antibiotics for a week.

I have had a blood clot turn into septicemia (blood poisoning) over the course of 2-3 days... that can be fatal.

Please don't wait, please go to the ER right away.

Oh my goodness, I'm so relieved!!!!!

Be careful with the spider bite though and take good care of yourself.

Jan starts breathing again because she got scared and accidentally held her breath.

Love and hugs,

Jan
