so about 6 days ago i almost suffocated. i had smoked about 30 cigarrettes during the day and taken 250mg clozapine. trying to sleep i awoke unable to breathe, called ambulance they checked me out i was mainly ok on vitals. but for almost every night i try to sleep (quit smoking, reduced clozapine) i get a pulsing internaly through half or all my body, like waves pulsing and jerking my nerves. it affects my heart beat a little and is scaring me. anyone ever have this or similar or know where there is info on this condition?

I wonder if it's due to reducing your clozapine, how much have you reduced?

That is pretty scary.. I'm glad you are okay.
Those sound like withdrawal symptoms.. I went off buproprion cold turkey once upon a time and had severe muscle aches and spasms.. Just not something I was expecting AT ALL from buproprion. Meds do strange things to our bodies.. Smoking cessation doesn't help, either, but I do not believe they would cause strange muscle jerks/sensations. As with everything, give your body time to recoup. |
