Oh gosh the stomach pain is back. Not gallbladder like pain just plain pain in my stomach. Can gerd cause this? Bc it's my stomach not my lower abdomin where it hurt before also.

I took Pepcid and stomach pain and gurgling is still happening two hours later. I guess it's gerd

I sW the dr yesterday and she gave me Prilosec and a med to coat my stomach

There are many causes. At times our valve musle that prevent fluid from going upwards aren't working well. We have one at the very end of our esophagus at the entrance to our stomach.
Meds to coat the stomach like pepto bismuth covers the inside lining of your stomach preventing the acid from damaging the underlayer. H pylori which we all have in our guts also burrows itself causing holes and pathways for acid meant to digest food however it please DO NOT quote ANY SELECTION of my post. thank you. have a good day. |

Yea it's sucralfate and Prilosec. I take the sucralfate three times a day. I get an upper endoscopy to check for damage to esophagus in May-same day as colonoscopy (ct Scan shows thickening in colon.)
I'm hoping these meds do the trick.i was dxd with gerd and sliding hiatal hernia nine years ago but didn't take meds for it.
