I am in my 40's, divorced and my pap test was suspect and Hpv positive. My last PAP was 5 years ago. Based on my sexual history I am not surprised I have it and probably got it in the last 5 years.

I know its not the end of the world and up to 80% of the population has it and just doesn't know they have it.

I think this is a wakeup call for me. I am in a bad place and have very low self esteem.
How do you tell FWB that you have this? I am not in a committed relationship

You say it kinda just like you did here, that it isn't the end of the world, and that 80% of the population has it, and they need to get checked. Not the most wonderful conversation but just out with it is best.
Thanks for this!

He probably has hpv himself but it doesn't have an effect on men since the certain kind of hpv causes uterine cancer. He just carries it. Some strain causes flare ups of warts which goes away.
