Okay so I am sick yet again. Literally, I've now had 6 health problems in 8 weeks. 3 colds/viruses, a UTI, thrush, and intestinal pain/bleeding.
I just had a blood test today to test 8 different things (to check my thyroid, see if I have an autoimmunity issue, etc.), and I have to wait 4 days to find out. I am expecting that nothing will come of it. And that bugs me because on top of now being unwell for a week, I've just had more intestinal bleeding appear just now. This stopped about 2 or 3 weeks ago. When I've had it in the past it's generally just started out with a little blood and maybe built up over a few days, but this was just suddenly a lot of blood and very mild intestinal pain (nothing that was concerning, I just noticed I could feel it).

I really don't know what is going on with me, but I'm so mentally drained from this. I mean I've had bleeding before, and I've had colds/viruses before, but this has just been constant illnesses for 2 months now.

When it all rolls in on top of one another illness can be overwhelming, I know even a flu can do a number on my mental health.

I hope you are on the mend soon, take care of yourself and vent all you need!

there are various ways to "build up", or strengthen, your immune system, so that the domino effect isn't so likely. it sounds like you have a general problem that is bringing your system down so that it can be attacked from all sides. most people don't really understand that the lower intestine is a major part of the immune system, and any malfunction there will greatly reduce your resistance in other areas, like the lungs.

please take this seriously, and work to improve your overall health, identify any intestinal issues, and give yourself plenty of what you need to recover, mainly time and rest and good food. best wishes~

I need to vent

I've just never been so sick so often before, if nothing comes up in my blood test it's going to be so depressing, I'm using up so much leave from work because of it. I might have to get tomorrow off soon too because I haven't been able to talk for 2 days now. But lately whenever I'm having days off work I've sick half the time so I have been missing out on so much too. This week I've had 4 days where I haven't been working, on top of going home early sunday and friday, and I've basically had to cancel all my plans.
And waiting 6 months just to get a consultation to get my intestinal bleeding looked at... I want it all over with.
