I was recently diagnosed with benign heart arrhythmia. I get PVCs and PACs which are premature contractions of the atria or ventricular and I also get sinus tachycardia. Sometimes the skipped beats turn into runs that can last up to 30 seconds. I end up feeling like I'm going to pass out and I get nauseous or shaky. I am on a beta blocker but so far I've seen no improvement. These palpitations cause the worst anxiety attacks I've ever had. I've also been put on Ativan to help with that but I hate feeling dependent on something. I feel like I need to find a way to cope with what I have. It's just so scary and I don't understand how something that feels this way could be perfectly safe. I see my cardiologist today so I am hoping for more answers, but I usually end up with more questions than anything else. Wish me luck! Oh and please feel free to weigh in with your own experiences if you happen to be in the same boat!

Hello JaydedAngel78: Yes I have heart arrhythmia (I think.) It kind-of feels like I have a chipmunk scurrying around in my chest! I haven't seen a doctor about it & so, of course, I'm not on any medications for it. I don't get nauseous. I feel sort-of shaky 24 / 7 though. So if the episodes would make me feel shaky, I probably wouldn't notice. Good luck with your appointment!

Yes. I suffered from bulimia for six years and my arrhythmia has resulted from that.
