Yesterday I felt like 100% crud. I mean I have never felt so bad. I felt like I had a sore throat; stuffy nose; burning in my chest; indigestion; nausea and then, OMG... heart palpitations. I never have had anything like it. Like 2 or 3 per minute for about 6 hours.

I happen to have a heart rate monitor at home and because I know the dangerous heart palps can cause racing heart rate... I kept checking it.

It was pretty steady. But still higher than usual. I usually am about 60 and this was 75.

Today, googling this I found that heart paps and higher heart rate can be associated with allergies. As it so happens today (and yesterday) was a HIGH tree pollen day and was 97 degrees. I had a few today but not like yesterday. In addition I gained 4 lbs on my scale since yesterday morning and retaining water is associated with allergies.

Now I am wondering about allergies. I never thought I had a real problem with them and but for the paps I never would have looked into it. Today I felt better but not 100% normal. I was also inside for a lot longer today.

Anyone else notice these things?
