I have had really bad nausea for the past 3 days on and off. Its been all day today. How do I get rid of it? I have no medicine and no money to get any, its not serious enough to bother going to the doctor, I walked to the store today to get some stuff but forgot the ginger ale but don't feel like walking back there again to get it. I'm thinking its from one of my medications. My doctor increased my paxil to 60mg last week, thats the only thing that I could think could be causing it. Sorry, I know this isn't like a serious health issue I'm just miserable. I almost wish I'd just throw up and be done with it.

These are the meds I have around the house but I don't think they would help. Nyquil. Ibuprofen. Tylenol pm.

The ginger ale would be good...the old home remedy for nausea. Go get it, please.
Thanks for this!

Not that I know of Halliebeth , its possible since I have been bulimic for almost 2 years though.

Thanks benzenering, I made myself go get some. First thing I could drink today without it making me feel even more nauseas

Yes, ginger ale and non-drowsy Dramamine (1/2 a pill). The Dramamine does cost something, of course, but I don't think it's very expensive.
Thanks for this!

SSRIs make me have digestive issues. I used something called fennel tea. But if you are going back to the store make sure you get ginger with real ginger. At one point I got ginger gum (had it at walgreens) and that was nice.
Thanks for this!

Peppermint helps too. And my favorite-OTC Prilosec!
