Last May, suddenly, without warning I started having heart palpitations. At first they were very bad. But then it was just ... some per day. But still I would say I would have about 140 PVCs per day. Talked to my doctors.. clueless.

Then, last Thursday, they stopped. I have had about 10 per day since Thursday, I would say that is normal.

I am so confused? I am glad they have stopped but wish I knew why. My doc did do some tests but refused to do a complete work up.

A theory I had was on the blood tests. My calcium result was high. Not high for their range but high for me. Normally my range is 8.9 to 9.4 (never above 9.4) and this time it was 9.9. (range ends at 10.1) so I asked my doctor for new tests and it came back 9.4. Still at the top of normal for me. But much better. A reason that your blood calcium can spike isn't eating calcium, but dehydration. I definitely could have been dehydrated.

But I am still confused as to how it could have just ended like that... like - Balm.

Now I am having another symptom that I don't know what to make of... I am having twitches and jerks. Mostly in my legs. It is keeping me up at night. Calcium can cause that too but seems strange that my heart palps are gone and my level has reduced.

Muscle spasms can be a sign of dehydration as well. Are you on medication that may be causing you to be dehydrated?

No. I will up my water consumption though as a precaution. I did take Belviq before the paps started but I don't know that would cause me to be dehydrated. Perhaps dieting but.. I stopped during the palps so I shouldn't be dehydrated any longer.
