I was sick and I’m still dealing with a runny nose. But today every half hour or so I’ve been getting this intense smell of food cooking. It’s kind of like someone’s cooking cherrios. I’ll also get this bad smell which I’m worried it’s me. But I don’t smell it all the time, and my mom doesn’t smell anything in the house or on me.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be my sinuses? I’ve heard smell hallucinations can be a sign of serious medical problems.

I’ve had smell hallucinations before but I’ve never smelled them so strongly before.

The smells went away and were replaced by a headache. Should I be worried?
