I’m in spasm from my neck all over my body. IDK if it will even get better and I may not even be able to type so much anymore.

Never heard of dystonia but happened to read about it because of Wild Coyote's post. It sounds a little like what you might have.

I think years of severe emotional stress aged me. I have an area in my spine/neck causing pain and a feeling of pinched nerves. I am being seen by a rheumatologist and was doing physical therapy. The other day, I slipped and the whole thing went into spasm. I have an MRI scheduled and am taking more meds now for it.

But, yikes, my nerves are numbing and tingling even when I type now. Not good.

How about Osteopathy? Did you consider that?

I just came home from the orthopedist/pain management doc. He wants to give me a shot in the neck. I asked if doing that will make the condition better of worse. He said maybe a little worse. I said I’ll think about it. I’m not doing it. I have pain that I can live with. Shish, the pain in my body is nothing compared to the pain in my heart.

His rushed demeanor was so off putting I wouldn’t let that guy stick a needle in me. He wouldn’t even let me talk to him. He shut me up and just barked at me about how he wanted to stick needles in me. What a jerk. I hated him.

I have been being my own doctor to help my mind. Now I’ll help my own body.

At least the good news is the MRI said I didn’t need surgery yet.
