I will admit I was always a skinny kid throughout elementary and high school but now it is really really bad. I normally weigh between 125 to 128 for my height which is normal. I’ve had a millions of tests thyroid is normal I am a bit anemic but I’ve been anemic before and that never has caused any red flags. I am on topamax but I’ve been on that since I was a teenager and my weight stayed pretty normal. My T says it is stress but honestly the only thing I’m stressed out out is my weight but my weight but by weight was dropping before I started stressing about losing weight. I keep thinking it could be my antidepressants ( I take Paxil) but all of my doctors insist that isn’t the case. I’m just annoyed I went from 125 to now 108 pounds that’s scary!!

Do you feel depressed so don't eat? Are you not hungry? Do you eat and also are losing weight?

Nope I’m not depressed I sometimes get anxiety about but that is it. I eat normally I eat lots of carbs but nothing helps. I used to be normal and maintain a healthy weight but it’s like my metabolism is off and food just goes thrush me.Doctors are puzzled I am puzzled 😕 I keep thinking it is the Paxil but the only anti depressant medications supposedly make you lose weight are Wellbutrin which I’m not on.

I have no idea why you are losing weight. I'm not a doctor. Sorry your doctors can't figure it out either. And sorry it's stressing you out! Did you doctor do testing?

They did some testing and they are going to try to figure out why I keep losing weight my T says it is stress ( this was way before I started losing weight) I honestly wasn’t stressed so I guess my primary doctor will hopefully figure it out or someone else it’s definitely strange:/

I’m kind of in the same boat.

I was reading online tonight, that if your a nervous person and you fidget a lot, you can burn up to 800 calories.

It was interesting.
Thanks for this!
