I had the dentist. They were flummoxed as to why my teeth were in not great shape when I only drunk a few cups of tea a day. And I brushed them after every meal, used listerene and flossed. Didn't smoke and only drunk on a Saturday.
I told her I was on medication and my work was extemely hot . And they said "oh possibly...hm ...I don't see this often ...but I think you have been suffering from dehydration. ..such a shame your teeth..." then they trailed off.
I quit my job realising that I have been working in appalling conditions. In a room with hot machines and NO windows or ventilation never mind air con. I would get a ticking off for having juice on my shelf above my machine. And I got one twenty minute break the whole day and two five minutes.
My grandad would tell me I looked shattered when I visited. Looking in the mirror I also realised that my shoulders were hunched from constantly standing in same position. So I have started yoga poses.
I feel so angry that I try so hard and life just throws dirt and laughs in my face . I am mad as hell. But I can hardly sue. My boss singled me out in a meeting and basically said that she was my bread and butter so there was no room for mistakes. When a customer complaned. My dad says every employer expects their "pound of flesh".

You did good by quitting that job if it was not good for your health. Are you looking for another one now?

This is relevant to me. My teeth are breaking too and I have been told it is on account of:

- dehydration/dry mouth
- medication
- anxiety

Both my dentist and doctor recommended Biotine which is a product that prevents dry-mouth

I'm sorry, that job sounds absolutely miserable. So glad you quit, but I worry for the others working there. The breaks are way too short and the conditions are horrible. How is that even legal? Ugh. I would look into the labor laws and maybe a union and see if something could be done. (Of course you don't have to, that's just me.) Maybe you could get them in trouble for treating you so horribly.
