I keep ending up at the doctors lately and it's becoming an issue in itself that I'm there. I've never encountered so many pressing issues before....all health related. I feel embarrassed. I've just had a new issue which if I don't get sorted in the next few days could lead to a worse crisis. I'm always ringing for an emergency appointment because the alternative is to wait three weeks.

Can anyone relate to this ?

I'm avoiding any kind of medical treatment. It'll catch up with me at some point. Hope things begin to settle down for you soon...

I have pressing urgent issues, too, and am glad I can get in to see someone if not my doctor who is very busy. I get to see a nurse practioner instead. There is nothing to be embarrassed about but I do understand having a lot of things on the list. I'm sorry you have had emergencies and hope they will be resolved.

Thanks Skeezyks and LucyD for replying. Actually after I posted here I rang the doctors centre to ask for an appointment and was bluntly told by the receptionist that my reason for attending was not urgent. They always ask why you want the appointment and I really hate that they can see your notes especially as there is a team of receptionists.

So I hung up and could not stop crying because I was so upset as I had asked to go for mental health reasons. I had to seek help out of town and have decided that I don't want to go back so I'm applying to a different doctor.

Skeezyks I can understand avoiding appointments as I've done that previously. I hope though that you'll find someone you feel more comfortable with to help take care of your health.

Thanks to both of you for understandin
