Has anyone been successful with cutting back on coffee (or caffeine in general)? How did you do it?

How much do you drink in a day? Is it an excessive amount? Do you shake or withdraw without it? I was having anxiety for a while from too much coffee my doc said and to cut back so I did. Turned out it was the meds. Now I drink what I want no problem. No more meds.

I don't think 3 cups is excessive or detrimental. There are lots of studies that say our daily coffee does us good. Heart health, mental health, etc. So ultimately it's up to you and your research on if you cut down. I have about 3 cups every morning with almond joy creamer. Probably too much sweet but it's wonderful!! Lol.

Yes, I cut back on coffee by having tea instead. It has way less caffeine. I bought a bunch of different teas, too. Today I had some coffee but made it less strong than I used to. I feel better too. I don't like that jittery feeling. That is what motivated me-to feel non jittery.
