I was in a treatment center for 2 years from 2007-2009 and then in 2017 when they bulldozed the place they found asbestos in the walls. So I was breathing in that for 2 years. I was watching TV and saw that there’s this type of cancer you can get from asbestos. Is there a good chance I could get that since I lived with it for 2 years? I know it’s not something to worry about right now, but I am a bit freaked about it.

It usually has to be loose, like if you were in a plant that manufactured asbestos products. I know people who died in that situation from it, there was a factory not far from my home. But otherwise, as long as the stuff was in place, i think you werent really in danger. I think they dont tear down places sometimes because it would be too expensive contain it. Like my old elementary school.
