Told to self isolate. I have a runny nose, and I'm tired. It's a cold people but dang. Covid crazed world we live in sent home from work until I'm cleared.

Had to cancel my visit with my daughter. Just in case i do test positive. Man i just don't even know what to do, I'm supposed to help my mom pack! Now my whole weekend is ruined. Sit home clean my apt. I did need a break. Hope my test is negative though.

A couple weeks ago I woke up with a sore throat like I had never had in my life, No white splotches so no strep, I called my Doctor, they sent a order to the hospital for Covid test.

I walked into the hospital wearing a mask, stood way back from glassed in front desk and said I needed test an order was sent, They asked for my phone number and told me to wait outside they would call to confirm my name address etc. They called in less than 15 seconds, as I hung up the phone a nurse was walking towards me. I asked if results would be 24-48 hours or more. She said No in 2 hours your Doctor will call you with results. and 2 hours and 20 mins later they called I was negative Thank goodness, We determined my sore throat was from a recently started new med.

Now I live in a very small town. Our hospital has only 28 beds so getting results so fast is a huge plus... In Florida where my daughter lives right now people are waiting 7 + days for results.

I hope you get your results soon and that they are negative.

I'm so glad your test was negative.

I'm angry about the length of time test results are taking, because I don't think it's necessary for the results to come in so slowly. I was scheduled for surgery on 5/28, told to take a covid test on 5/27. The results took 5 hours.

I feel like test results can be expedited if there's a need.
